CIM_Dependency
The CIM_Dependency class is an association used to establish dependency relationships between two managed system
elements. The CIM_Dependency class described in the figure below does not have a parent class because it is a relationship or
association between two elements.
Each class derived from the CIM_Dependency class has an element called an antecedent that represents the independent
object in this association, and another element called a dependent that represents the object that is dependent on the
antecedent. For example, consider two managed system elements: Chassis1 and PowerSupply3. Chassis1 is the antecedent
element because a managed power supply would always be either contained in, or grouped with, a chassis.

DELL_FanSensor
The DELL_FanSensor class described in DELL_FanSensor Properties defines a Dell-specific association between a fan and a
sensor. The CIM_PackageFanSensor class contains fans that assist in cooling the entire package as opposed to a fan
dedicated to cooling only some of the components in the package.
The following table describes the element, description, and parent class details for DELL FanSensor.
