Description Species the enclosure’s asset tag.
Syntax
omconfig storage enclosure action=setassettag controller=id
enclosure=<ENCLOSUREID> assettag=<string>, where id is the controller ID. The
<ENCLOSUREID> variable species the enclosure.
In this syntax, <string> is a user-specied alphanumeric string.
Example to Specify the asset tag to encl20 on the enclosure attached to connector 2 on controller.
Example for SCSI, SATA,
and ATA controllers
omconfig storage enclosure action=setassettag controller=1 enclosure=2
assettag=encl20
Example for SAS controllers
omconfig storage enclosure action=setassettag controller=1 enclosure=1:2
