NOTE: When installing RPM packages, to avoid warnings concerning the RPM–GPG key, import the key with a command similar
to rpm --import <OM DVD mountpoint>/SYSMGMT/srvadmin/linux/RPM-GPG-KEY
NOTE: Before installing Server Administrator on SLES15, you must install insserv-compat package else the installation fails.
• In case of Red Hat Enterprise Linux or later and SLES, install the wsman and sblim packages from the operating system DVD. See, To
install the wsman and sblim packages
• Install all the prerequisite RPMs required for successful installation.
If the system had factory-installed, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, or SUSE Linux Enterprise Server, see the Dependent RPMs for Remote
Enablement section for information on any RPMs that you need to manually install prior to installing managed system software.
Typically, you may not need to manually install any RPMs.

1 En Selección de paquetes, seleccione Servidor básico.

4 En la subcategoría, seleccione la opción Administración de empresas basadas en la web > Paquetes opcionales. Los paquetes
seleccionados de forma predeterminada son: openwsman-client, sblim-sfcb, sblim-wbemcli y wsmancli
Elimine la selección del paquete sblim-wbemcli en la lista anterior.
5 Seleccione openwsman-server y haga clic en Siguiente.
6 Después de la instalación del sistema operativo, instale el paquete libcmpiCppImpl0 desde el DVD del sistema operativo o a través de la
utilidad Yum.
Instalación de software para sistemas administrados usando los

El instalador usa RPM para instalar cada componente. El software (DVD) está dividido en subdirectorios para permitir realizar instalaciones
personalizadas con facilidad.
Para revisar el software antes de instalarlo, siga este procedimiento:
1 Cargue el software Dell EMC OpenManage Systems Management Tools and Documentation en la unidad DVD.
2 Monte el DVD, si fuera necesario.
3 Cuando haya montado el DVD, vaya a: <OM DVD mount point>/SYSMGMT/srvadmin/linux/

Express Install
Use the provided shell script to perform the express installation on supported Linux operating systems.
NOTE
: On the Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.x operating system, DVDs are auto‑mounted with the -noexec mount option. This
option does not allow you to run any executable from the DVD. Manually mount the DVD and then run executables.
1 Log in as root to the system running the supported operating system where you want to install the managed system components.
2 Mount the Dell EMC OpenManage Systems Management Tools and Documentation software into the DVD drive.
3 Mount the DVD, if required.
