Installation du logiciel Managed System avec un logiciel de

déploiement tiers

Vous pouvez utiliser un logiciel de déploiement tiers, tel que Altiris Deployment Solution, VMware Update Manager (VUM) ou Linux

Repository pour Yellowdog Updater Modied (YUM) et Zypper, pour installer le logiciel Managed Systems sur les systèmes pris en charge.

Pour distribuer et installer Server Administrator à l'aide de Altiris Deployment Solution :

1 Démarrez l'application Altiris.

2 Importez le chier OpenManage_Jobs.bin du répertoire SYSMGMT\srvadmin\support\Altiris dans le logiciel Dell EMC OpenManage

Systems Management Tools and Documentation.

3 Spéciez le dossier de travail où vous souhaitez importer le chier OpenManage_Jobs.bin.

4 Modiez les tâches Exécuter un script et Copier un chier pour qu'elles correspondent à l'environnement de déploiement.

5 Planiez la tâche pour qu'elle s'exécute sur les systèmes pris en charge gérés depuis Altiris Deployment Solution.

Référentiel Linux

Le Référentiel Linux est le référentiel ociel de tous les logiciels et mises à jour pour vos systèmes Linux. Vous pouvez utiliser ce référentiel

pour eectuer les tâches suivantes :

• Installer Server Administrator.

• Installer les pilotes pour tous vos systèmes Linux

• Installer les mises à jour du BIOS et de micrologiciel

Conguration du référentiel Linux

Avant d'utiliser le référentiel Linux pour installer des logiciels ou des mises à niveau, vous devez le congurer. Pour plus d'informations, voir

http://linux.dell.com/repo/hardware/.

Congurez le référentiel de la manière suivante :

wget -q -O - http://linux.dell.com/repo/hardware/latest/bootstrap.cgi | bash

Installation Using Linux Repository

You can install Server Administrator using the Linux Repository by following any of the methods listed below:

NOTE

: Ensure that you set up the Linux Repository before you install the software from the repository.

NOTE: Server Administrator will not install on unsupported systems. If you try installing Server Administrator on unsupported

systems, you will receive a message that the system is not supported and the installation will fail.

NOTE: With Server Administrator 9.2 release, the signing algorithm has changed from SHA-1 to SHA-512. Therefore, if you are

installing or upgrading to Server Administrator 9.2, then you must rerun the bootstrap script.

Using YUM

To install OMSA using the repository, type the following command:

yum install srvadmin-all
