NOTE: Entering an invalid RAC user name may prevent the command log from displaying. Clearing the command log resolves this
condition.
To clear the contents of the command log, type:
omconfig system cmdlog action=clear
or
omconfig servermodule cmdlog action=clear
To clear the contents of the ESM log, type:
omconfig system esmlog action=clear
or
omconfig servermodule esmlog action=clear

Omcong system pedestinations or omcong servermodule
pedestinations
Use the omcong system pedestinations or omcong servermodule pedestinations command to set IP addresses for alert destinations.
The following table displays the valid parameters for the command.
NOTE
: You can either specify the index and IP address as parameters together or you can set only the community string as a
parameter.
NOTE: Index 1 to 4 accepts an IPv4 address and index 5 to 8 accepts an IPv6 address. On 12th generation of PowerEdge
systems with iDRAC7 specic versions, the index can accept IPv4, IPv6, or FQDN.

true: Enables an individual platform event lter destination after a valid IP address has been set.
false: Disables an individual platform event lter.
index=number Sets the index for the destination.
ipaddress=<ipv4 address | ipv6
address | fqdn>
Sets the IP address for the destination.
NOTE: On 12th generation of PowerEdge systems with iDRAC7 specic versions, ipaddress
can also be a Fully Qualied Domain Name (FQDN).
communitystr=text Sets the text string that acts as a password and is used to authenticate SNMP messages sent
between the BMC and the destination management station.
