NOTE: The firmware and drivers listed in the Server Administrator Release Notes, see the minimum
supported version for these controllers. Later versions of the firmware and drivers are also
supported. For the most recent driver and firmware requirements, contact your service provider.
The controller properties can vary depending on the model of the controller. Controller properties may
include:

Property Definition
ID Displays the ID assigned to the controller by Storage Management.
Storage Management numbers the controllers attached to the system
starting with zero. This number is the same as the controller ID
number reported by the omreport CLI Command. For information on
Command Line Interface, see the Server Administrator Command Line
Interface User’s Guide.
Status These icons represent the severity or health of the storage component.
For more information, see Storage Component Severity.
• — Normal/OK
• — Warning/Non-critical
• — Critical/Failure/Error
Name Displays the name of the controller.
NOTE: For PowerEdge FD332 storage sled, the name is displayed
as:
• Single controller —PERC FD33xS (Integrated RAID Controller
<X> in Front Chassis Slot <Y>, where X displays the controller
number and Y displays the front chassis slot number.
• Dual controller —PERC FD33xD (Integrated RAID Controller
<X> in Front Chassis Slot <Y>, where X displays the controller
number and Y displays the front chassis slot number.
Slot ID Displays the slot to which the controller is attached. For PowerEdge
FD332 storage sled, the name is displayed as: PCI Slot <Y> <X>, where
Y displays the front chassis slot number and X displays the controller
number.
NOTE: You can also identify the slot ID by selecting the System →
Main → System Chassis → Slots object and clicking the
Information tab.
State Displays the status of the controller. Possible values are:
• Ready — The controller is functioning normally.
• Degraded — The controller has encountered a failure and is
operating in a degraded state.
• Failed — The controller has encountered a failure and is no longer
functioning.
