Virtual Disk Properties And Tasks
Use the virtual disk properties and tasks window to view information about the virtual disks and execute
virtual disk tasks.
From the Options menu:
Refresh Partitions: Click to refresh the Virtual Disk Partitions data once the partition is created using the
operating system commands for the available virtual disks.
Go to the Create Virtual Disk Wizard: Launches the Create Virtual Disk Wizard.

The virtual disk properties can vary depending on the model of the controller. Virtual disk properties may
include:

Property Definition
Status These icons represent the severity or health of the storage
component.
Normal/OK
Warning/Non-critical
Critical/Failure/Error
For more information, see Storage Component Severity.
Name Displays the virtual disk name.
State Displays the status of the virtual disk. Possible values are:
Ready — The virtual disk is functioning normally.
Degraded — A physical disk in a redundant virtual disk is not
online.
Resynching — A consistency check is being performed on the
virtual disk.
Performing a Cancelling A Check Consistency on a virtual disk
while it is in Resynching state causes the virtual disk to be in a
Failed Redundancy state.
