enable: Enables powercap settings.
disable: Disables powercap settings.
unit=watt | btuphr | percent
watt: Configure the unit in Watts.
btuphr: Configure the unit in BTU/hr.
percent: Configure the unit in
percentage.

on systems prior to PowerEdge
12G systems.
profile=maxperformance | apc | osctrl
| custom
maxperformance: Sets the processor
to the highest supported processor
state. It offers maximum performance
mode with minimal power economy.
apc: Active Power Control (apc)
enables the demand-based power
management controlled by BIOS.
osctrl: OS Control (osctrl) enables the
demand-based power management
controlled by the operating system.
custom: This profile allows you to
configure individual BIOS settings. It
offers added control by displaying the
underlying BIOS settings.

systemdbpm | osdbpm
min: Sets the CPU power consumption
to minimum.
max: Sets the CPU power
consumption to maximum.
systemdbpm: Sets the mode to system
demand based power management.
osdbpm: Sets the mode to operating
system demand based power
management.
NOTE: These options are
applicable only when a custom
profile is selected.
memorypowermode=min | 800 | 1067 |
1333 | max
min: Sets the mode to minimum power
utilization.
800 | 1067 | 1333: Set the mode to 800,
1067, or 1333 MHz.
max: Sets the mode to maximum
performance.
