What's New
Dell OpenManage Server Administrator 6.5.0 has been tested and certified on
the following operating systems:
• SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 10 Service Pack 4 (64-bit)
• Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.1 (64-bit)
• Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5.7 (32-bit)
• Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5.7 (64-bit)
• VMware ESX 4.0 U3
• VMware ESX 4.1 U2
• VMware ESXi 4.0 U3
• VMware ESXi 4.1 U2
NOTE: Use Systems Management Tools and Documentation DVD version 6.5 A01 to
install Dell OpenManage Server Administrator Version 6.5.0.
Known Issues
• When the latest Dell Server is discovered in IT Assistant, under Device
Detailed Summary
page, you may see a unknown/wrong Processor Family
name in the
Processor Information table.
This happens when the specific Dell Hardware/Server is released after the
installed version of IT Assistant.
To know the correct Process Family name, you can refer to the
Processor
Brand Name
column value in the same Processor Information table.
• Issues for Dell OpenManage Server Administrator
– On ESXi, when the alert log entries are cleared from Server Administrator,
the subsequent updated alert log entries are not preserved after a reboot.
