omconfig Set Enclosure Asset Name
Use the following omconfig command syntax to specify the asset name for an
enclosure.
Complete Syntax
omconfig storage enclosure action=setassetname
controller=id enclosure=<ENCLOSUREID> assetname=
<string>
where id is the controller ID. The <ENCLOSUREID> variable specifies the
enclosure.
In this syntax, <string> is a user-specified alphanumeric string.
Example for SCSI, SATA, and ATA Controllers
To specify the asset name to encl43 for the enclosure attached to connector 2
on controller 1, enter:
omconfig storage enclosure action=setassetname
controller=1 enclosure=2 assetname=encl43
Example for SAS Controllers
To specify the asset name to encl43 for enclosure 2 attached to connector 1
on controller 1, enter:
omconfig storage enclosure action=setassetname
controller=1 enclosure=1:2 assetname=encl43
omconfig Set Temperature Probe Thresholds
Use the following omconfig command syntax to set the minimum and
maximum warning temperature thresholds for a specified temperature probe.
NOTE: This command is not supported on SAS controllers.
Complete Syntax
omconfig storage enclosure action=settempprobes
controller=id enclosure=<ENCLOSUREID> index=id
