Cause: The %1 indicates a substitution variable. The text for this substitution variable is generated by the controller and is displayed with the alert in the Alert
Log. This text is from events in the controller event log that were generated while Storage Management was not running. This text can vary depending on the
situation.




Description: The controller is unable to recover cached data from the battery backup unit (BBU).

Cause: The controller was unable to recover data from the cache. This may occur when the system is without power for an extended period of time or when
the battery is discharged.

Action: Verify that the battery is charged and in good health. When the battery charge is unacceptably low, the battery cannot maintain cached data.

