NOTE: Dell updateable components such as Basic input/output system (BIOS) and FirmWare (FW) are considered
applications. For example, the following would be returned for system BIOS:
Application/DisplayString = BIOS
Application/Version = A10
The Application Group defines information about the applications discovered on the system during an
inventory scan. Identifying information includes the application type, the application version, and the
application description.
