iDRAC Service Module(iSM) is a lightweight software service that better integrates
operating system (os) related features with iDRAC and can be installed on DELL EMC
12 PowerEdge servers. iSM has very little impact on the host processor and smaller
memory footprint than "in-band" agents such as DELL EMC OpenManage Server Administrator
(OMSA) agent into supported host operating systems. Refer here for more details: https://
