omconfig Enable LKM Controller
Use the following omconfig storage command syntax to enable the LKM
mode and create the encryption key for the controller.
Complete Syntax
omconfig storage controller action=enablelkm
controller=id keyid=<keyid string> passphrase=
<passphrase string> [escrow=yes] [filepath=
<Absolute path to the escrow file>]
where id is the controller ID as reported by the omreport storage controller
command.
Example Syntax
To create the encryption key for the controller, type:
omconfig storage controller action=enablelkm
controller=1 keyid=Dell_123 passphrase=Dell_123
escrow= yes filepath=C:/escrow.xml
NOTE: If you set escrow=yes, specify the escrow file path.
omconfig Rekey LKM Controller
Use the following omconfig storage command syntax to re-key the encryption
key in LKM mode for the controller.
Complete Syntax
omconfig storage controller action=rekeylkm
controller=id keyid=<keyid> passphrase=
<passphrase string> escrow=yes filepath=<Absolute
path to the escrow file>
where id is the controller ID as reported by the omreport storage controller
command.
Example Syntax
To re-key the encryption key for the controller, type:
omconfig storage controller action=rekeylkm
controller=1
