To open the Users window:
1.
Launch the
Dell OpenManage
TM
Printer Essentials.
2.
In the navigation pane, click
Settings
Users
.
Adding an user account
Administrators can add a new OMPE or ADS user using this option. After a new
user is added, the user can log in to OMPE with the new user ID. OMPE prompts
the user to set the password during first login.
Add ing an OMPE user account
1.
From the action menu in the
Users
window, click
CREATE
.
The New User widget is displayed.
2.
From the
User Type
list, select
OMPE
.
3.
Enter the login name to be used in the
Login Name
field.
NOTE: This field is mandatory.
4.
From the
Role
list, select the user role.
5.
Enter the
First Name
,
Last Name
,
Email Address
and
Address
in the
respective fields.
NOTE: These fields are mandatory.
6.
Click
Save
.
