Configuring ADS
If Active Directory Service (ADS) is not setup during installation, you can
configure it using this option.
1. In the navigation pane, click Settings ADS .
2. To use Active Directory LDAP Authentication, select Active Directory
LDAP Authentication.
3. Enter the domain name in the ADS Domain Name field.
4. Enter the domain controller in the ADS Domain Controller field.
5. Enter the port number in the ADS Port Number field.
6. To use SSL connection, select Use SSL Connection .
7. To choose the ADS SSL Certificate file, click Upload .
8. Click Save .
Customizing preferences
The Preferences feature of OMPE enables you to customize the home page
view and set the refresh intervals for polling.
Customizing dashboard view
You can customize the dashboard view to display selected widgets.
1. In the navigation pane, click Settings Preferences .
2. In the Select Widgets group, select the widgets to be displayed.
3. Click Save .
Customizing list view
You can customize the list view to display selected columns.
1. In the navigation pane, click Settings Preferences .
2. In the Select Columns group, select the columns to be displayed.
3. Click Save .
Customizing printer data upload
You can enable or disable Dell Print Metering service to upload printer data to
the Dell Cloud Connect server.
1. In the navigation pane, click Settings Preferences .
2. From the Printer Data Collection box, select On or Off to enable or
disable Dell Print Metering service.
3. Click Save .
