The Groups window displays a list of all available printer groups and its details.
To view the list of printers present in a group, in the Name column click on the
group name.
Adding a group
You can create both manual selection and rule based printer groups using this
option.
Add ing a manual selection group
1. From the action menu, click CREATE .
The Create Group widget is displayed.
2. Select Manual Selection .
3. Click Next .
4. Enter a name for the group in the Enter the group name field.
5. Click Next .
The Groups > Create Group > Manual Selection window displays the
printer list.
6. Select printers to be added to the group.
NOTE: You can search for printers using the search box on top of the list.
7. Click Save .
Add ing a rule based group
1. From the action menu, click CREATE .
The Create Group widget is displayed.
2. Select Rule Based Selection .
3. Click Next .
4. Enter a name for the group in the Enter the group name field.
5. Click Next .
The Rule Based Group widget is displayed.
6. Select the rules for printer selection from the drop-down lists in the Search
Option .
7. From the first drop-down list, select the printer attribute.
8. From the second drop-down list, select the condition.
9. In the text box, enter the attribute value to evaluate the condition.
10. To add an additional rule, from the last drop-down list select the rule
operators as either AND or OR.
