Open Issues And Resolutions
Issue 1: Product version from “About” and “Licensing” are different
Description: When I click “About”, from the Power Center console, it indicates that OMPC Version
2.0 is installed. However, when I view the version in “Licensing”, it indicates that the product
installed is at Version 1.2. Which version of OMPC is actually installed on my system?
The version listed in “About” (OMPC 2.0) is the actual OMPC version that is installed in your system.
The cause of this issue: OMPC supports perpetual licensing, and does not force a license upgrade
when you upgrade OMPC from version 1.2 to 2.0. While you have upgraded your system to OMPC
2.0, your license reflects the previously-installed version 1.2 license.
Resolution or workaround: No functions or features are affected, but Dell recommends that you
import license version 2.0.
Issue 2: The power graph is blank when viewing the power (or temperature) history in 1H window
Description: When viewing the power history (or temperature) of a selected group in the 1H
window, the graph is blank. The possible cause: OMPC has just been installed and has not yet
collected enough data to provide a power history graph. The data point of the 1H graph in is
presented in 3-minute increments, and time is required to collect data before the graph will display
as intended.
Resolution or workaround: N/A. Wait until OMPC has collected enough data to present the graph
properly.
Issue 3: The power graph is blank when viewing the power history in 15-minute window
