All Devices
The All Devices tab lists both network-discovered devices and devices added manually in a flat, non-hierarchical view.
From this screen, you can:
Edit devices and device entities
Delete single devices and device entities
Delete multiple devices and device entities
Refresh the All Devices list
Filter the All Devices list
Launch the web console for a device. See IP Address, below.
Sort devices. By default, the devices are listed by Name (in the Unicode order). To sort the list in ascending or
descending order, click the up or down caret next to the column title.
The Devices list displays the following device information:
Name: Device Name. Power Center resolves this name during the network discovery.
Status: Device status including Connected, Lost connection, Unknown statuses.
Hostname: Device hostname.
Device Type: Device type including Server, PDU, UPS, Chassis, or Unsupported device types.
Group: Device's physical group.
Size of Device: Physical size of the device, in rack units (U).
Faceplate Power: Device faceplate power.
De-rated Power: Device de-rated power.
Clicking on a specific device in the All Devices list displays additional information about that device in the details section
of the screen:
IP Address: Device IP address. Clicking on the IP address launches a web console for the device (iDRAC, PDU
console, or UPS console).
Serial Number or Service Tag: Device serial number or service tag. The service tag for Dell chassis and servers
is displayed, and just the serial number for Dell PDU and UPS. For all other devices, NA is displayed.
Asset Tag: Unique alphanumeric identifier for the device.
Device Model: Device model; for example, PowerEdge M610.
Protocol: Communication protocol in use including IPMI, SNMPv1v2c or SNMPv3, or WS-MAN.
Power Capability: Power monitoring and capping capability, or if the device can be upgraded, including
Unknown, None, Monitor, Monitor and Capping, Monitor and Upgradable.
Time of Discovery: Time when the device was discovered.
Description: Device description.
