Timestamp — Data timestamp
PowerAvg — Average power value
PowerMin — Minimum power value
PowerMax — Maximum power value

Purge Database Now — You can manually purge the database at anytime. Once you click Purge Database Now,
Power Center immediately purges the database according to your setting in Purge Data Older Than. Once
completed, you will see the informative event
Database Maintenance Success
in the Event Logs page.
Setting or Editing the Database Policy
1. Click Settings in the left navigation pane, then scroll down to the Database Policy section.
2. Click Edit.
The Edit Database Policy screen opens.
3. In the Data Compression drop-down list, select the number of days (1-14) to keep non-compressed data (the default
is 7 days).
4. Enter the number of days (1–365) to Purge data older than (the default is 365 days).
5. Select the time (00:00:00–23:00:00) to Schedule database purging daily at (the default is 23:00:00).
6. Click Save to apply your changes, or click Cancel to discard your changes and return to the previous screen.

To manage user authentication and certificate validation within Linux installations only, configure LDAP settings.
NOTE: The Directory Settings screen is not available within Windows
®
because LDAP is only applicable to a
Linux environment.

NOTE: Directory (LDAP) settings are only applicable to Dell OpenManage Power Center installations within a Linux
environment. If you have installed Power Center in a Windows environment, you will not see these settings.
1. In the left navigation bar, click Settings, then click Directory .
2. Click Edit.
3. To enable LDAP authentication, place a check mark in the Enable LDAP User Authentication check box, then
provide the following information:
LDAP Server Address (required). Enter single DNS names or IP addresses, or multiple names or addresses
separated by a comma. For example:
192.25.46.89,192.25.47.68
Bind Distinguished Name (optional). Where a Bind Distinguished Name is not provided, Power Center uses
an anonymous bind to search for the user's login Distinguished Name. For example:
uid=mark,ou=manager,dc=dell,dc=com
