Overview
Dell OpenManage Power Center is a power management solution for the data center. It enables you to
monitor and manage power consumption and temperature in your data center through the management
console.

Feature Description
Easy Installation
The Dell OpenManage Power Center installation
wizard has easy-to-use steps that allow you to
install the application easily and in a few minutes.
Power Monitoring Monitors power-related metrics on the following
levels:
• Individual device
• Data center/Room/Aisle/Rack/Chassis
• User-defined group
Temperature Monitoring Monitors temperature data of devices or device
groups.
Power Control Creates policies that control power consumption
at the device and group levels.
Tasks You can create power control and discovery tasks.
Power control tasks help you avoid power cuts and
power spikes. Discovery tasks help you to add
devices to the Power Center management
console. This in turn, helps you to manage them.
Device Discovery Supports Dell enterprise systems including
PowerEdge blade and tower/rack servers, chassis,
and Power Distribution Units (PDUs) and
Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) devices.
You can also use Dell OpenManage Power Center
to discover non-Dell servers and chassis by
obtaining the requisite licenses.
Role-based Access Control Supports user authentication and multiple role-
based rights.
