96 OMNM 6.5.3 Installation Guide
Compatible Operating Systems/Databases/Browsers
Sometimes upgrading OpenManage Network Manager (OMNM) requires an operating system
upgrade on the host(s) where you install it. Such an upgrade typically follows these steps:

Back up the OMNM database.

Upgrade the operating system.

Install the OMNM version from which you were upgrading (again) on the newly updated
(supported) operating system.

Restore the database

Upgrade to the new version of OMNM.

Operating Systems status is either active (x), announced end of life or compatibility (AEOL), end
of engineering support (EOES) or end of life or compatibility (EOL).
