Alternative ways of Grouping Attributes in Reports
—The following are ways to turn on grouping
in a report template.
• Select Group on First Attribute. This groups output based only on the first attribute as
described above.
• Do not select Group on First Attribute—In the layout for each column select group by
for the individual attributes you wish to report together. This method creates separate
groups for each attribute, groups within groups appear.

. This method creates a single group using all the columns you have
selected in attribute layout and inserts a count for each group.

Summarize Data Only
- Generates a report that only shows the raw data, with no column or page
headers and no group summaries.

Select the source inventory for a report, and its data types in this screen.
Click the green plus (+) to select the
Inventory Type
. The types of data available for that inventory
type appear in the leftmost column in this screen. Click on a
Selected Type
to see its
Available
Columns
.
Click the arrows to move columns from
Available
to
Selected
. The
Selected Columns
appear in the template’s report.
