As data accumulates, and is rolled up, these booleans begin to appear as percentages—reflecting
the percentage of monitor executions producing results in the specified range. Note that this is
not
a count or percent related to number of times the range changed.
If, for example, you had
bad
vs.
good
ranges, and based range determination on more than one data
sample, the following would occur. If the range is originally
bad
then it stays
bad
until we receive
enough data to change to
good
. Although results may occasionally be in the
good
range, the history
(trend) will not indicate data ever was in the
good
range until enough data points appear in
good
.
Therefore the monitor may indicate
good
although many intermittent results may fall outside of
the
good
range.
NOTE:
If ranges cover all possible values for an attribute, the daily percentages per range should add up to
100%.

Available Attributes
appear at the top of this screen. Click
Add
to create a new threshold, or
Edit
to
modify an existing, selected one. This activates the
Threshold Options
editor. Click
Apply
to accept
your edits, or
Cancel
to abandon them. You can enter the following fields there:
