Class of Service -> Drop Profiles
This panel manages COS drop profiles. Dropped packets must match the drop profile. When a
packet arrives, RED checks the queue fill level. If the fill level corresponds to a nonzero drop
probability, the RED algorithm determines whether to drop the arriving packet.

Drop Profiles are associated with the forwarding classes and loss priorities from the scheduler-map
you configured on the interface. (see Class of Service -> Scheduler Maps on page 449). In this
