Router ID
—The router ID number. By default, this is an IP address on the device. Router ID is
an optional field, with a default value of the smallest device IP interface.

Number of External LSAs
—The number of external link-state advertisements (LSAs) in the
link-state database.

Area Border Router
—Indicates whether the device is an area border router. If the device is
configured as an ABR, the device is connected to two or more areas. One area is the backbone
area.

AS Boundary Router
—Indicates whether the device is configured as an ASBR (Autonomous
System Boundary Router). If the device is configured as an ASBR, the device imports routing
data from non-OSPF routing protocols. Redistribute RIP Routes—Checking this enables the
redistribution of routes inserted into the IP routing table by the RIP protocol to advertise
OSPF as external routes.

Redistribute RIP Routes
—Lets you advertise all external routes to RIP as external routes. This
enables/disables redistribution of external direct routes.

Redistribute Static Routes
—Lets you advertise all statically configured routes as OSPF external
routes. This enables/disables redistribution of static routes.

Redistribute Direct Routes
—Lets you advertise all external routes to OSPF as external routes.
This enables/disables redistribution of external direct routes.
