42 Dell OpenManage IT Assistant 版本 8.9 的新功能
注 : 对于 Dell OpenManage 版本 5.3 和更高版本， Software Update Utility 只能
通过 Dell Server Updates DVD 获得。但是，对于早于 5.3 的 Dell OpenManage
版本，Software Update Utility 可通过 Dell PowerEdge Server Update Utility CD 获
得。在本指南中， Dell Server Updates DVD 和 Dell PowerEdge Server Update
Utility CD 将在下文称作 Server Update 介质。
自定义捆绑
使用 IT Assistant，可创建一个自定义 System Update Set 或捆绑。
可创建仅包含您需要的软件包的自定义捆绑。例如，可通过现有 Dell 自
定义捆绑创建自定义捆绑，这样您就可以只更新指定目标设备组上的设备
驱动程序。
然后可使用这个自定义捆绑推动系统生成一致性报告，并进行自定义更新。
首选应用程序启动
IT Assistant 支持为多台设备或一组设备启动用户配置的应用程序，例如

存储集成
IT Assistant 在存储环境中查找 Dell|EMC 阵列，然后在 “ Storage
Devices
” （存储设备）组中的 “ Dell/EMC Arrays ” （Dell/EMC 阵列）类
别中显示它们。

打印机集成
IT Assistant 版本 8.0 和更高版本支持 Dell 网络启用的打印机的查找，并
且在
“ Device ” （设备）树中的 “ Printers ” （打印机）类别下面对其进行
分类。
IT Assistant 使用 SNMP 与打印机设备进行通讯。 Dell 打印机执行标准
“打印机 MIB”，允许对重要信息进行标准化访问。
注 : 可使用 IT Assistant 的这项功能在您的网络环境中查找非 Dell 打印机。
