Additional Software Required to Run Some Features of IT Assistant

* For Dell/EMC storage arrays, ensure your array is FLARE(R)
version 19 or above. You should also install Navisphere(R) Secure
CLI (version 19 or above) on your management station.
NOTE: This CLI software is part of the IT Assistant install.

Recommended SQL Server Updates
---------------------------------------------------------------------
If SQL Server 2000 is the default database, upgrade to SQL Server
2000 SP3.
If SQL Server 2005 is the default database, upgrade to SQL Server
2005 SP1.
If SQL Server 2005 SP1 is the default database, upgrade to SQL Server
2005 SP2.
If SQL Server 2005 SP2 is the default database, upgrade to SQL Server
2008 R2.

* New Operating Systems Support
Now, you can install the IT Assistant management station on these
64-bit operating systems:
- Windows 7 64-Bit
- Windows 2008 R2
NOTE: These operating systems must be WoW64 enabled:
Now, IT Assistant can discover and manage servers installed with
these operating systems.
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5.5
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.0
- ESX 4.0 Update 2
- ESX 4.1 Update 1
- ESXi 4.0 Update 2
- ESXi 4.1 Update 1
- Windows Server 2008 HPC Edition Server R2
NOTE: You must also install the required Dell OpenManage software
from the OpenManage product suite to discover and manage devices.
* Express Service Code
In addition to the service tag; now, IT Assistant displays Express
Service Code for PowerEdge servers running OpenManage Server
Administrator version 6.4 or later. Express service code is a
reportable attribute.
* Support for New Alerts
IT Assistant can receive the following new alerts from Dell
OpenManage Storage Management:
- Alerts for enablement of controller encryption and switching
encryption mode between Dell Key Management and Local Key
