The nodes are recommended based on the following checks:
● Both new nodes and cluster nodes must be from Dell Technologies.
● New nodes and cluster nodes must be from the same model for symmetrical cluster. For mixed cluster, new nodes can be of
any model of the existing cluster nodes.
● Operating system installed on new nodes must be same as cluster nodes (major OS version). Failover cluster expansion is
supported in nodes using Windows Server 2016 and 2019 OS versions.
