• Discover, configure, and update firmware of Dell EMC PowerEdge MX7000 Modular Systems by using Operational Templates.

• Create hyper-v clusters with predefined Operational Templates and Storage Spaces Direct feature enabled on Dell EMC Storage

Spaces Direct Ready Nodes (built on Dell EMC PowerEdge servers that have been preconfigured, tested, and certified to run

Upgrade scenario

To upgrade from previous version of product, backup the artifacts of OMIMSSC version 7.0 and restore them on OMIMSSC version 7.1.

Installation prerequisites

Install OMIMSSC on 11th generation and later generation of the PowerEdge rack, modular, and tower servers.

OMIMSSC Appliance installation supported on Hyper-v 2008 R2 or greater.

You can manage devices in OMIMSSC if the devices are hardware compliant (devices which suffice minimum version of iDRAC, BIOS and

Lifecycle Controller firmware versions). The following table lists out the minimum prerequisites for devices to be managed by OMIMSSC.
