Overview
This document contains updated information about OpenManage Integration for VMware vCenter(OMIVV) and any other
Technical Documentation included with the OMIVV software.
The OpenManage Integration for VMware vCenter 5.3 provides the following features:
● Support for additional RESTful APIs
For more information on supported APIs, see the OpenManage Integration for VMware vCenter 5.3 API guide available at
https://www.dell.com/support/.
● Support for vSphere 7.0 U2
● Support for PowerEdge XE8545, R750, R750xa, R650, C6520, and MX750C servers
● Support for stateless Memory Page Retire (MPR) alerting
● Enhancement in switch appliance to switch between default and current active appliance
● Enhancement in the Proactive HA feature to support Memory Operating Mode alerting for Advanced ECC Mode, Mirror
Mode, Spare Mode, Spare with Advanced ECC Mode, and Dell Fault Resilient.
● Support for VMware Horizon servers verified
NOTE: Dell EMC recommends using Dell EMC OpenManage Enterprise-Modular Edition Version 1.00.01 and later with
OMIVV 5.3.
NOTE: From OMIVV 5.0 onwards, only VMware vSphere Client (HTML-5) is supported and the vSphere Web Client (FLEX)
is not supported.

NOTE: For any of the mentioned deployment modes, ensure that you reserve sufficient amount of memory resources to the
OMIVV virtual appliance by using reservations. See vSphere Documentation for steps about reserving memory resources.
