OMIVV instance is not removed from vCenter after resetting
OMIVV appliance to factory settings
This issue occurs when you reset the appliance to factory settings. OMIVV appliance entry remains in the vsphere-client-
serenity folder of vCenter which prevents vCenter registration after factory reset.
Resolution: Remove the OMIVV entry from the vCenter. For more information, see How do I force remove OMIVV appliance
from vCenter on page 174.

Test connection and inventory fails in OMIVV after changing
vCenter password
For ESXi version 6.7 and later, OMIVV retrieves an iDRAC IP of ESXi host using Intelligent Platform Management Interface
(IPMI) protocol and this operation is not dependent on WBEM.
If OMIVV fails to retrieve an iDRAC IP for any reason, OMIVV tries Common Information Model (CIM) protocol (as a fallback)
which is dependent on WBEM status. If the password of vCenter user which is used for registration is changed, you may
observe WBEM related issue while running test connection and inventory.
Resolution: After changing vCenter password, modify the vCenter credentials in OMIVV administration console before
performing any operation in vCenter. For more information about modifying credentials, see Modify vCenter login credentials on
page 17.

OMIVV page displays invalid session, or time out exception, or two
million errors in Firefox browser
If the OMIVV page is idle for some time (510 minutes), the invalid session, or time out exception, or two million errors is
displayed.
Resolution: Refresh the browser. If the issue persists, log out and log in from vCenter.
To see the correct data in OMIVV, ensure that you complete the task listed in resolution.

Warranty job is not running for certain hosts
In a vCenter linked mode environment with multiple vCenters, if you add a host using FQDN to one vCenter and IP to another
vCenter, warranty job runs only for one host instance.
Resolution: Remove the disconnected host instance from the host credential profile and run the inventory and warranty job.
