Information Description
When you select this option from the View drop-down
menu, the Filter drop-down list is displayed.
The following options are available in the filter:
All Physical Disks
Global Hot Spares
Dedicated Hot Spares
The last option displays custom name of the virtual
drives.
Capacitydisplays the physical disk capacity.
Disk Statusdisplays physical disk status. The options
include:
ONLINE
READY
DEGRADED
FAILED
OFFLINE
REBUILDING
INCOMPATIBLE
REMOVED
CLEARED
SMART ALERT DETECTED
UNKNOWN
FOREIGN
UNSUPPORTED
Configureddisplays whether the disk is configured.
Hot Spare Type(Not applicable for PCIe)shows the hot
spare type. The options include:
Nothere is no hot spare.
Globalan unused backup disk that is part of the disk
group
Dedicatedan unused backup disk that is assigned to a
single virtual drive. When a physical disk in the virtual drive
crashes, the hot spare is enabled to replace the failed
physical disk without interrupting the system or requiring
your intervention.
Virtual Diskdisplays the name of the virtual drive.
Bus Protocoldisplays the bus protocol.
Controller IDdisplays the controller ID.
Media Typedisplays either SSD or HDD.
Remaining Rated Write Endurancedisplays the SSD
remaining write endurance.
Connector IDdisplays the connector ID.
Enclosure IDdisplays the enclosure ID.
Device IDdisplays the device ID.
Modeldisplays the model number of the physical storage
disk.
Part Numberdisplays the storage part number.
Serial Numberdisplays the storage serial number.
Vendordisplays the storage vendor name.
Controllers
Controller IDdisplays the controller ID.
Namedisplays the name of the controller.
Device FQDDdisplays the FQDD of the device.
Firmware Versiondisplays the firmware version.
Minimum Required Firmwaredisplays the minimum
required firmware. This column is populated if the firmware
is out of date and a newer version is available.
Driver Versiondisplays the driver version.
Patrol Read Statedisplays the Patrol Read State.
Cache Sizedisplays the cache size.
NOTE: This section displays the chipset controller
information. This is not displayed in the storage controller
