The OMIVV 5.3.1 is a defect fix release. For more information, see Fixes on page 7.

NOTE: The OpenManage Integration for VMware vCenter (OMIVV) 5.3.1 supports both RPM and OVF update methods.

After you perform the 5.3.1 RPM or OVF update, the scheduled deployment job gets canceled. Reschedule the deployment

job based on your requirement.

Urgent: Dell EMC highly recommends updating your OMIVV instance to version 5.3.1 available at https://www.dell.com/

support. This update contains enhancements to keep OMIVV compatible with the latest system software like BIOS, firmware,

and drivers for different system modules.

NOTE:

If you have installed OMIVV 5.2 or earlier versions, it is recommended that you update OMIVV to 5.2.1 or 5.3, and

then perform update to the latest version.

To update OMIVV 5.2 or earlier versions to 5.2.1, use the https://linux.dell.com/repo/hardware/vcenter-plugin-

x64/5.2/5.2.1.2352/ repository path.

To update OMIVV 5.2 or earlier versions to 5.3, use the https://linux.dell.com/repo/hardware/vcenter-plugin-
