Proactive HA events
Based on the components supported by VMware for Proactive HA, the following events are registered by the Dell Inc provider during its
registration with vCenter:
NOTE:
The Proactive HA health status of the supported components can be normal (green), or warning (yellow), or
critical (red), or unknown (gray) state.
Table 26. Dell Proactive HA events
Dell Inc provider event Component type Description
DellFanRedundancy Fan Fan redundancy event
DellPowerRedundancy Power supply (PSU) Power redundancy event
DellIDSDMRedundancy Storage IDSDM redundancy event
For a Proactive HA enabled host, the following Traps are used by OMIVV as a trigger to determine the redundant health of components:
Based on the redundant health information, a Proactive HA health update might be sent to the vCenter for that host. These Traps are not
forwarded directly to a vCenter for a Proactive HA host.
