Proles
The Credential Proles tab let you manage and congure the Connection Proles and the Chassis Proles.
The Connection Proles let you manage and congure connection proles required to access the Dell servers. The Connection
Proles lets you manage and congure connection proles that contain credentials used by the virtual appliance to communicate
with Dell Servers. Associate each Dell server with only one connection prole for management by the OpenManage Integration for
VMware vCenter. You may assign multiple servers to a single connection prole.
The Chassis Proles let you manage and congure connection proles that contain credentials used by the virtual appliance to
communicate with Dell Chassis. Associate each discovered Chassis with one chassis prole for management by the OpenManage
Integration for VMware vCenter. You may assign multiple chassis to a single chassis prole.

Viewing Connection Proles
A Connection Prole must be created and/or exist before it can be viewed.
After one or more connection proles are created, those can be viewed on Connection Prole page. The OpenManage Integration
for VMware vCenter uses the credentials given in the proles to communicate with Dell hosts.
In OpenManage Integration for VMware vCenter, on the Manage → Proles → Credential Proles → Connection Proles
you can view all the connection proles you have created. The information you can view includes:
Prole
Name Displays the name of the connection prole.
Description Displays a description, if provided.
vCenter Displays the FQDN or Host Name or else IP address of the vCenter as per the context.
Associated Hosts Displays the hosts associated with this connection prole. If more than one, use the expand icon
to show all.
iDRAC Certicate Check Shows whether the iDRAC Certicate Check is enabled or disabled.
Host Root Certicate
Check
Shows whether the Host Root Certicate Check is enabled or disabled.
Date Created Displays the create date.
Date Modied Displays the Modify date.
