Management Pack for SCOM
The Dell EMC Windows Server Agent-based and iDRAC7 or iDRAC8 SNMP Management Pack for SCOM enables agent-based
discovery and monitoring of PowerEdge servers, rack workstations, and iDRACs through OMSA. The Dell EMC-specific views on
the SCOM console is used to observe and analyze the device status in a network.
Dell EMC Windows Server Agent-based and iDRAC7 or iDRAC8 SNMP Management Pack for SCOM is a self-extracting
executable file—Dell_EMC_Server_Management_Pack_Suite_<Version>_XXX.exe—where, XXX is the Dell EMC Windows
Server Agent-based and iDRAC7 or iDRAC8 SNMP Management Pack version release number. You can download the executable
file and the latest documents from the Dell Technologies support site.
CAUTION: You must perform the tasks that are described in this user's guide only if you have firsthand working
experience with the supported SCOM console versions and in using Microsoft Windows operating system. Else,
it can result in lost or corrupted data.

Dell EMC Windows Server Agent-based and iDRAC7 or iDRAC8 SNMP Management Pack for SCOM enables you to discover
and monitor the following Dell EMC devices:
● Dell EMC PowerEdge servers—Using the Dell EMC Servers and Rack Workstations Monitoring feature (OMSA agent-
based).
NOTE:
Dell EMC Server and Rack Workstation Monitoring feature supports monitoring of PowerEdge servers having
Windows Server operating systems.
● Supported Dell Precision Racks
● Integrated Dell Remote Access Controllers—Discovery and monitoring of supported iDRAC devices—12th and 13th
generation only. SNMP and PET traps for iDRAC devices is supported by the DRAC monitoring feature.
