Upgrade OMIMSSC by using service packs stored offline or online:
Steps
1. Log in to the OMIMSSC Admin portal, select Settings > Service Pack Updates.
2. Select either the online or offline method of service pack upgrade:
Online method
a. Click Reset to Default Repository to reset the default repository path to https://linux.dell.com/repo/
omimssc-scom/latest/.
Offline method
a. Download the OMIMSSC_v7.3.0_<build>_SCOM-yumRepo_<revision>.zip file from https://linux.dell.com/repo/
omimssc-scom/ and save it in a repository.
b. Extract the service pack update files from the ZIP file and host the repository over HTTP.
c. In the Repository URL box, enter the URL information in the following format: https://
<servername>:<portname>/<repository path>. Do not enter an underscore (_) in the repository URL.
Ensure that the files' formats in the service pack are supported by the HTTP server. If not, check with the HTTP
administrator to add the support. The following file formats are supported:
RPM
XML
TXT
BZ2. To enable the BZ2 file format:
a. Start the IIS Manager on the server where the repository files are saved.
b. Expand the hostname. Click Sites > Default Web Site.
c. In the Action pane, click Add.
d. Enter the file name extension as BZ2 and MIME type as APP or BZ2.
e. Click Ok.

3. If required, select the Proxy Server Settings check box, and then enter proxy server information and credentials to access
the server.
4. Click Check for Updates.
The current version of the OMIMSSC appliance and service pack update available in the repository is displayed.
5. Click Apply, and then click OK.
6. To view the logs, in the left pane, click Settings > Logs.
