Manage OMIMSSC from the SCOM console
The key feature of the OMIMSSC appliance is that it enables you to monitor and manage your Dell EMC devices by using the
SCOM console as a single common interface. To manage devices by using the SCOM console, you must import and deploy
specific Dell EMC management packs from OMIMSSC to the SCOM console.

Access Dell EMC OpenManage Integration Dashboard
by using the SCOM console
About this task
To discover and manage your Dell EMC devices, you can log in to the Dell EMC OpenManage Integration Dashboard by using the
SCOM console. If the current IP address of OMIMSSC is changed, you can Override the current OMIMSSC IP address using the
new IP address.
NOTE:
On Internet Explorer, configure these settings before accessing the Dell EMC OpenManage Integration Dashboard
on the SCOM console:
● Go to Internet Options > Security > Local Intranet > Sites > Advanced and enter:
○ The IP address and FQDN of the OMIMSSC appliance.
○ Links—about:security_Microsoft.EnterpriseManagement.Monitoring.Console.exe,
about:internet, and about:blank to include in the Local Intranet zone.
● Go to Internet Options > Advanced > Security and clear the Do not save encrypted pages to disk option.
To log in to the Dell EMC OpenManage Integration Dashboard from SCOM console:
Steps
1. In the left pane of the SCOM console, select Monitoring, and expand Dell EMC > Dell EMC OpenManage Integration
Views.
2. Select Dell EMC OpenManage Integration Dashboard.
3. In the working pane, log in with the local administrator credentials of the SCOM Management Server.
The Overview page of Dell EMC OpenManage Integration Dashboard is displayed.
