NOTE: While the certificate is being uploaded, the OMIMSSC appliance may be unresponsive for a few minutes and the
services are restarted. After the task is completed, it is recommended to close all existing browser sessions of OMIMSSC
Admin Portal and Dell EMC OpenManage Integration Dashboard on the SCOM console. Log in again to the OMIMSSC Admin
Portal to view the uploaded certificate.
Restore default certificate
1. On the OMIMSSC Admin Portal, expand the left pane and select Settings > Security.
2. On the OMIMSSC SSL Certificates page, click Restore Default Certificate.
3. To confirm, click Yes.
NOTE: While the certificate is being restored, the OMIMSSC appliance may be unresponsive for a few minutes, and the
services restart. After the task completes, clear the browser cache, close the existing browser sessions of OMIMSSC Admin
Portal and Dell EMC OpenManage Integration Dashboard on the SCOM console. Log in again to the OMIMSSC Admin
Portal.
Jobs and logs in OMIMSSC Admin Portal and
OpenManage Integration Dashboard
You can view all information about the tasks initiated in OMIMSSC along with a job's progress status, and its sub task by using
the Jobs and Logs page. Also, you can filter and view jobs for a category. You can view the jobs from the OMIMSSC Admin
Portal and OpenManage Integration dashboard.
Job names are provided by users or are system generated, and the sub tasks are named after the IP address of the managed
server. Expand the sub task to view the activity logs for that job. There are four categories of jobs.
RunningLists jobs that are either currently running or are in-progress state.
HistoryLists jobs run in the past along with its job status.
ScheduledLists jobs scheduled for a future date and time. Also, you can cancel the scheduled jobs.
Generic LogsLists OMIMSSC appliance-specific, common log messages that are not specific to a sub task, and other
activities for every user specifying the username and console FQDN.
Appliance logsDisplays all OMIMSSC appliance-specific log messages such as enrolling Management Server with
OMIMSSC and restarting OMIMSSC. Available only in the OMIMSSC Admin Portal.
Generic logsDisplays all log messages that are common across jobs that are listed in the Running, History, and the
Scheduled tabs. These logs are specific to a console and a user.
The various states of jobs defined in OMIMSSC are:
CanceledThe job either manually canceled by you or when OMIMSSC restarts.
SuccessfulThe job is successfully completed.
Failed The job could not be successfully run.
In ProgressThe job is running.
ScheduledThe job has been scheduled for a future time.
WaitingThe job is in a queue to start running.
RecurringThe job will repeatedly run after a fixed interval of time.
NOTE:
If multiple jobs are submitted at the same time to the same server, the jobs fails. Therefore, ensure that you
schedule jobs at different times.
View OMIMSSC jobs and logs
About this task
By using the OMIMSSC Admin Portal or the OpenManage Integration Dashboard (can be viewed on the SCOM console itself),
