b. Enter a name and description for the profile.
c. Under the Credentials section, enter the user credentials of a user who will enroll SCOM Management Server(s) with
OMIMSSC or access a Windows Network Share Path to back up and restore OMIMSSC appliance data.
The user must be a domain user with local administrative privileges on all the Management Servers in the Management
Group and must be added to the Operations Manager Administrator role.
d. Enter domain name of the SCOM Management Group.
4. Click Finish.
Results
The new Windows Credential Profile is successfully created, and then listed on the Credential Profiles page.
Modify Windows Credential Profile
Steps
1. On the OMIMSSC Admin Portal, to expand the left pane, click the > icon, and then select Credential Profile.
2. Select the Windows Credential Profile that you want to edit, and then click Edit.
3. Modify the settings and click Finish.
Delete Windows Credential Profile
About this task
NOTE: A Windows Credential Profile being used in a enrollment or edit enrollment job cannot be deleted.
Steps
1. On the OMIMSSC Admin Portal, to expand the left pane, click the > icon, and then select Credential Profile.
2. Select the Windows Credential Profile that you want to delete, and then click Delete.
3. On the Delete Credential Profiles page, click Yes to provide your confirmation to delete the Windows Credential Profile.
Enroll SCOM Management Group and Dell EMC Alert
Relay Servers with OMIMSSC for SCOM
Prerequisites
Enable Remote PowerShell on all SCOM Management Servers.
Steps
1. On a supported web browser, enter the IP address of the OMIMSSC appliance and log in as an OMIMSSC ADMIN user.
You must use the OMIMSSC ADMIN user credentials set during the configuration of OMIMSSC appliance for SCOM. See
Configure the OMIMSSC appliance on page 23.
2. To expand the left pane, click the > icon, and then select Settings > Console Enrollment.
3. In the working pane, click Enroll.
4. In the Introduction to Onboarding OMIMSSC for SCOM dialog box, an overview of enrollment process of the SCOM
Management Server(s) with OMIMSSC appliance for SCOM, the steps that are involved in setting up the Dell EMC Alert
Relay Servers, and to discover devices using OMIMSSC for SCOM are provided. Read the information and click Next.
5. To enroll Management Group with the OMIMSSC appliance for SCOM:
a. Enter a name for the enrollment.
b. In the SCOM MS FQDN box, enter the FQDN of a SCOM Management Server in the SCOM Management Group.
c. From the Credentials drop-down menu, select a Windows credential profile with local administrative privileges on the
SCOM Management Server and Operations Manager administrative privileges.
