Support Matrix
Before you begin to deploy and configure the OMIMSSC appliance for SCOM, ensure that the following software and hardware
requirements are met.

NOTE: On systems running the Nano server version of Windows Server 2016
operating system, apply the Update Rollup 1 for Microsoft System Center 2016 -
Operations Manager agent package that is provided in the Microsoft knowledge
base article KB3190029. For more information, see https://support.microsoft.com/

You can upgrade to the latest versions of SCOM from previous versions as per
Microsoft guidelines. For information about the supported upgrade scenarios, see
the Microsoft System Center documentation.

Web browsers To start the OMIMSSC Admin Portal, you must use one of the following web browsers:

Windows requirements for deploying
OMIMSSC on the Management
Server with the SCOM console
Enable the following Windows firewall rules:
SCOM SNMP Response
SCOM SNMP Trap Listener
SCOM Ping Response
Windows PowerShell 3.0 or later, if your system is running Windows Server 2012 R2
operating system.
RAM for the OMIMSSC appliance Minimum of 8 GB
Processor cores for the OMIMSSC
appliance

The CPU cores are configured by default when the OMIMSSC appliance is deployed by
using the OVA format. When using the VHD format, you must configure the CPU cores
for the VM during the deployment process.
Hard drive on the system where
the OMIMSSC appliance VM gets
deployed.
