● Configure OMIMSSC VM after first login.
● Enroll SCOM Management Server(s) and Dell EMC Alert Relay Servers with OMIMSSC appliance for SCOM.
You can upgrade to the latest version of the OMIMSSC appliance for SCOM by using:
● The service packs available on the Dell Technologies support site—To be used when you upgrade OMIMSSC version 7.2 to
version 7.3.
● The Backup and Restore feature of OMIMSSC—To be used when you upgrade OMIMSSC version 7.1 and 7.1.1 to version
7.2. You can then use the service packs to upgrade from OMIMSSC version 7.2 to version 7.3.

Important Notes
Dell EMC management packs provided by the OMIMSSC appliance for SCOM
The following Dell EMC management packs are imported in the SCOM console based on the monitoring device scope selected
during the enrollment of SCOM Management Group with OMIMSSC appliance.
● Feature Management
○ Dell.FeatureManagement.Pack.mp
Dell EMC Feature Management Pack provides a dashboard to monitor supported OMIMSSC features, import (scalable/
detailed), upgrade, and remove management features.
● Dell EMC PowerEdge Server Monitoring
○ Dell.Server.SDK.mp
Dell EMC Server Management Pack: This management pack contains the discovery and Unit Monitor for the Dell EMC
Server and its components.
○ Dell.View.SDKServer.mp
Dell EMC Server View Library Management Pack: This library management pack contains the view type definitions for the
Dell EMC Agent-free Server Management Pack and Dell EMC Agent-based Server Management Pack.
○ Dell.WindowsServer.Scalable.mp
Dell Windows Server Scalable Management Pack for discovery and monitoring of Dell EMC PowerEdge Servers through
the Dell EMC Server and Rack Workstation Monitoring feature.
