Known Issues
System Updates
NOTE: OpenManage Essentials does not support the software update task on the management
station. This is because the Software Update task is interrupted and the final results of the update
are not known. You can perform software updates using the other Dell tools.
Before creating an update task for Non-Compliant systems, it is recommended that you update to the
latest catalog from ftp.dell.com by clicking the Get the latest button under the System Update tab. Make
sure that you have internet connectivity to download the latest catalog.
