Viewing the Profile (Last Deployed Attributes)
The profile of a device contains a listing of last deployed attributes of the device configuration template,
including the device-specific and virtual I/O identity attributes.
To view the last deployed attributes:
Perform one of the following:
• On the Devices portal, select the deployed device from the device tree. On the right-pane, click
Configuration → Profile.
• On the Deployment portal, select the deployed device from the Compute Pool section. On the
right-pane, click Profile.
The last deployed attributes are displayed within the Template Attributes, Device-Specific
Attributes, and Virtual Identities tabs.
NOTE: Only attributes that you selected in the device configuration template for the
deployment are displayed in the Profile tab.
Support for Stateless Deployment
Stateless deployments are dependent on the Host Bus Adapter (HBA) cards available in Dell PowerEdge
servers. A server may have HBA cards manufactured by one or more vendors. Stateless deployments may
or may not be supported on a server depending on the HBA card vendor. The following table provides
information about the support for stateless deployment tasks based on the HBA card vendor.
NOTE: Before you preform stateless deployment, ensure that the HBA cards have the latest
firmware version installed.
