Installing Dell OpenManage Essentials on a Domain Controller

3. Select Dell OpenManage Essentials and then click Install. This launches the Dell OpenManage

Essentials prerequisites screen.

4. Click “Install All Critical Prerequisites.”

Note: If SQL Server is not installed on the domain controller where OpenManage Essentials is being

installed, a warning message is displayed, with a link to install SQLEXPRESSOME locally. If you ignore

this warning message, then while starting the OpenManage Essentials installation you will be prompted

whether you want to install using a local or remote database.
