Configuring the Database Instance
Note: The SQL Server service will not start if you are using the default NETWORK SERVICE or LOCAL
SYSTEM accounts.
The following steps enable you to configure the database instance (SQLEXPRESSOME) to run using a
domain service account.
1. Open “SQL Server Configuration Manager”.
2. On the left pane, click “SQL Server Services”.

3. Right-click the “SQLEXPRESSOME” instance and click “Properties”.
