Installing OpenManage Essentials on a Domain Controller With a Local Database
Prerequisite:
Log on to the domain controller with administrator rights.
Steps
1. Download the OpenManage Essentials package from https://delltechcenter.com/ome
, and
extract the files to a local drive.
2. The self-extracting zip automatically launches the Autorun.exe window or you can manually
launch the Autorun.exe.

3. Select “Dell OpenManage Essentials” and then click “Install”. This launches the Dell
OpenManage Essentials prerequisites screen.
