Additional Software Required to Run Some Features of Essentials
For Dell/EMC storage arrays inventory, ensure that your array is FLARE(R) version 19 or above. You must
also install Navisphere(R) Secure CLI (version 19 or above) on your management station.
NOTE: This CLI software is part of the OpenManage Essentials installer media and can be installed from
the prerequisites window.

Migrating IT Assistant to OpenManage Essentials
Direct migration from IT Assistant to OpenManage Essentials version 2.0.1 is not supported. However,
you can migrate IT Assistant to an earlier version of OpenManage Essentials (version 1.3), and then
upgrade to OpenManage Essentials version 2.0.1.

NOTE: The OpenManage Install dialog box displays a notification if the latest version of OpenManage
Essentials or Dell SupportAssist is already installed on the system. For Dell Repository Manager and Dell
License Manager, this notification may not be displayed, even if the latest versions are already installed.
