设置和配置 VMware ESXi 5
在设置和配置 VMware ESXi 5 之前，确保您拥有 ESXi 5 的 474610 编译版或更高版次。如果没有所需的版
次，请从 vmware.com 下载最新编译版次。
1. 从 dell.com/support 下载适用于 ESXi 的 Dell OpenManage 脱机捆绑的最新版本 (7.3)。
2. 如果您已启用 SSH,，请使用 WinSCP 或类似应用程序将文件复制到 ESXi 5 主机上的 /tmp 文件夹。
3. 使用 Putty 通过 chmod u+x <Dell OpenManage version 7.3 offline bundle for ESXi
file name>.zip 命令更改适用于 ESXi 文件的 Dell OpenManage 脱机捆绑权限。
注: 也可以使用 WinSCP 更改权限。
4. 运行以下命令：
– Putty — esxcli software vib install –d /tmp/<Dell OpenManage version 7.3
VIB for ESXi file name>.zip
– VMware CLI — esxcli –server <IP Address of ESXi 5 Host> software vib
install –d /tmp/<Dell OpenManage version 7.3 VIB for ESXi file name>.zip
将显示消息 VIBs Installed: Dell_bootbank_OpenManage_7.3-0000。
5. 重新引导主机系统。
6. 重新引导后，通过运行以下命令验证是否已安装 OpenManage：
– Putty — esxcli software vib list
– VMware CLI — esxcli –server <IP Address of ESXi 5 Host> software vib list
7. 为 ESXi 5 主机上的硬件警报配置 SNMP，以向 OpenManage Essentials 发送 SNMP 陷阱。 SNMP 不用
于查找。ESXi 5 主机的查找和资源清册需使用 WS-Man。找到 VM 后，如果要在 OpenManage
Essentials 设备树中使用 ESXi 主机为 VM 分组，必须在 ESXi 主机和 VM 上启用 SNMP。
8. 创建查找范围并配置 WS-Man。

从 IT Assistant 迁移至 OpenManage Essentials
不支持从 IT Assistant 直接迁移到 OpenManage Essentials 版本 1.3。不过，可以将 IT Assistant 迁移到较旧
版本的 OpenManage Essentials，然后再升级到 OpenManage Essentials 版本 1.3。有关将 IT Assistant 迁移
